Hey guys...
Ls3 UMI 2” springs. QA1 shocks, adj Summit control arms.
After the swap from my sbc and kyb Shocks To the LS and qa1...I kept the umi coils..
The front sits lower...it’s settled now... And bounces. Too mushy...
The qa1 are in the middle. I haven’t Stiffened them bc I can’t access the dial Without basically uninstalling... But would that help ? Or do I need a firmer spring?
I want the mush and bounce gone.
What do I do.
Cost effectiveness helps...
Thx.

Bouncing is usually shock. Firm that up first

I agree, firm up the shocks.
What KYB shocks were you running before? As a point of reference, the KYB Gas-A-Just shocks have atypically firm compression damping. Ideally QA1 could point you in the right direction with baseline settings if you told them your spring rate, vehicle weight, wheel/tire combo, and handling goals/preferences. I've never dealt with them personally so I don't know how good their tech support is.

Sits lower now yes in the front.
Ok so crank the shock up firm. Check.

I want to agree with everyone else and say start with the shock. I'd guess the spring should be ok because the weight of the old SBC and the ls with the supercharger have got to be very close to the same

Let’s see a pic of the lower control arm angle relative to the ground

Are you saying you cant access the QA1 Adjustment knobs because they are down in the Spring Pocket? Are you T-Brackets mounted above or below the Spring Pocket Plate?
You may need to sacrifice a Screw Driver to the Custom Tool Box. This may allow you to the dials/knobs.
