Just tried to in stall my sway bar, not ridetech musclebar, and the angles for the end links seem to be way off. Not sure if I am doing something wrong here or if I have to have the posi link endlinks to make this work? I have posted pics, and help here would be appreciated.

Cut two inches out of the spacer that's between the bushings and use a shorter bolt.

I will give that a shot, just seems like the angle is so severe that even cutting the spacer and dropping the bar a couple inches will still leave me out of alignment pretty bad but maybe not. Thanks for the advice.

Before you cut the spacer, is the car at ride height.
If it’s on jack stands, then it will have that severe angle you showed.

Yeah that, put it at ride height and take another picture if you can.

The car is at ride height in the pictures. I probably should have mentioned that.

Which spindles are you using, Can't tell from the pictures, but they don't look like Ridetech. Are they drop spindles? If they are, and the chassis is now lower than before, you just need to lower the other mount for the bar.....

Spindles are stock modified to fit Wilwoods calipers. I took the spacer out to slide the bar down the bolt to see if I could get a better angle and it did not help. 157268157267

I assumed you had drop spindles... What brand of sway bar do you have? I used a Hotckis bar with RideTech arms and don't have the same problem.

I’m on a small screen phone here with 50 year old eyes, but it looks like your angle is leaning towards the front and not a side to side issue? I think your bar can slide rearward on it’s mount from the picture. Are the mounting holes stock locations?

You are right, it is a front to back issue and if the bar were longer or if I could slide further back it could be solved. My bar is a slight bit larger diameter than stock so I had to push forward a little to get clearance of the idler arm. I am using the links that came with the bar but it seems I may need to come up with something that will alow an angle change.l

In the second last picture you can still slide the bar to the rear but it then hits your idler? What if you use longer mounting bolts with spacers on top of the bar under the frame? Other than that, I would only really worry about that angle if it was making the bar not work by the links laying over instead of the bar twisting

Swing the bat up more, that will level the sway bar hole better but it also looks like the sway bar hole in the lower A-arm is further back from stock so it will put the link on a more severe angle.
