I ordered mine from Dale at Schwartz as well. He's been great to deal with but I've been waiting for 4 months for the seats...that's a Recaro issue, not a Dale issue. Original lead time was 8-10 weeks. I got the Specialist S in black leather. I'm 5' 11" and don't need the additional front bolster that someone with longer legs might need. From what they've said, the specialist S is not a commonly ordered seat (surprisingly since you see them everywhere), hence the long lead time. If lead time's a big deal for you, I'd talk to Dale and he can check what's available in their warehouse and that might help guide your decision. Again, Dale's done a great job and I wouldn't hesitate from ordering from Schwartz the next time, I'll just do it sooner in the build!

I think you have a first gen camaro .. if so and you are able any chance you could measure the clearance between the seat pan and seat bottom ? After wrestling with the ecu mounting I am hoping under the seat is possible
My build won't be a good example. Floor was totally removed for the full frame install and seats will be mounted on an upward angle on the sliders. Best to find someone with a stock set up. I can tell you that on the flat floor, when sitting on the sliders, the is only an inch clearance with the M's. but this may be different on a stock floor.

Ordered mine through Dale at Schwartz Performance as well... but about 2 years ago.
Finally getting to the point of finishing the build far enough to put in.
I went with Specialist S- I'm 5'9' and prefer the fit of them and the look without the extended leg rest.
Went with a set of Recaro sliders and low profile mounts as well. Using the stock floorpan, and theres maybe an inch of clearance so no way to mount an ECU under there.

Not sure what ECU your running, but if your doing an LS swap, i had a lot of luck just trimming the factory ECU bracket and mounting it under the passenger dash. Works great even with a Vintage Air unit.
