Hoping to get the new job...

I have applied for a new job at the place where I work. I am now on an off shift and the new job is on DAY shift. I will get to travel to Chicago and to Toronto if I get this job. I am so excited! But this morning I find out that they aren't wanting to let me go to this new job, I am assuming because I am the most senior one on my job now. But I should find out something tomorrow. I just can't wait!!!

I just hate when you want to try something different and they feel that you are to important to let go.

I am just ranting so please forgive me.

I am also trying to transfer to another division in my company, but since I have been here over 7 years and the next senior person has ~ 6 months, my chances are slim. Sometimes being unreplaceable makes you stuck!
