Im about to buy new coil springs for the 70 Camaro. I can’t remember what the proper spring rate should be for the DSE quadra link and subframe coil overs. Looking for a Autocross rate.

I think 650 front / 450 rear.

450 sounds very high. I would have guessed 250 or less.

250 is stock for the rear, I could have sworn I saw something. Ttt

Going for a stiff spring stiff bar strategy? :)

The problem I’m having is the spring is so light I have to adjust the coil over real high to get the ride height. I was also told for Autocross the spring is too weak.

I think you have to take your rear sway bar rate into consideration. What springs do you have now? There is a fair amount of info on this topic in Ron Sutton’s rear suspension sticky. Light springs heavy bar is a popular combo as far as I know.

These cars ride like crap with heavy rear springs imho. Too light is crap too because you need a lot of preload to get your ride height.

Yeah, that’s kind of where I’m at. I need a lot of preload to get the car where I like it. Being low is cool but the speed bumps no likey
