I have a new LS3-376-525 crate motor mating up to a 4L75E tranny. I'm about to get my frame back from the powdercoater and started thinking about the oil pan clearance issues. I'm about to do my search through this forum but thought I may as well ask the question. I have a 68 Chevelle, so which oil pan is everyone using. I'm also installing a power rack and pinion cradle kit from Flaming River so I shouldn't have any tie rod interference issues. Motor mounts I have keep the motor in the stock location rather than shifting the motor back an inch.
Just want to be sure the pan will not interfere with the cross member and with the car being lowered a few inches I'm not sure how low the pan may hang below the cross member.
just trying to think of everything and looking to the masses for some help.
