Hi PT,

We put a LS7 into a TCI subframe on my 69 Camaro and have a problem with the oil pan as it sits lower than the cradle. The builder says we need to get a lower profile oil pan but the option that he suggested (Speedtech) is 8 weeks out. Any body know if there is another low profile choice or someone that has this oil pan on hand and is willing to sell? I need the pan to be less than 5 inches from flange to lowest point. Also looking for other potential options like a taller motor mounts or something.

This is urgent as this is literally the last thing left that is holding the delivery of my car after being in the shop for 1.5 years.

Thanks in advance

I’m guessing this is a wet sump converted engine since the LS7 pan is about as shallow as they come?

Have you looked into Holleys oil pan?

Milodon oil pan. If you read the customer review, the guy put it on his first gen Camaro with a TCI subframe.

Thanks for the heads up, looks like that pan is 5.375 tall which means the lowest point in the pan will be .375 lower than the lowest portion on the TCI cradle. Not sure if he is driving this around the street but that seems dangerous and potentially a very expensive mistake.
