I知 in the middle of replacing my floorpan in my 68 Camaro. After floor pan I will move to the trunk pan. During this process I知 going to mini tub the car. Are there any frame rails on the market that are already boxed and cut for minitubs? If not I値l go ahead and just box in the factory rails like the DSE kit says to do.

Yes they make pre notched for 69 from dynacorn. Not available for 67 and aim unsure but I believe they do for 68. I haven't used them. But I did order a pre built trunk floor with narrowed rails all built on a GM jig for right at 1200. It's the easiest way to go.

Mikes Custom Cars has some nice frame rails but they are sometimes hard to reach.

If you want to patch into yours I have a set of Factory style product partials. They go from just in for the of axle to tail pan about 48" give or take. I also have a set of full length auto weld rails if your going to fare your own trunk. These are 2x3 bent to fit contour of existing car but you either fab a flat trunk pan or slice the trunk pan a d recess them. Very nice. Both for sale brand new not hacked

Art Morrison has a very nice full rear frame setup that fits perfectly between the DSE mini-tubs. I have the triangulated four bar version.

I have the AME frame rails and they came notched. It's probably an option.
