My uncle is asking me to help find out what backspacing he needs for the front of the Camaro with an 8 inch wide wheel and he will be running the Baer pro 13 inch 6 piston setup on stock spindles? Anyone running this setup?

Most guys will tell you 4.75" backspace with an 8" wide wheel is perfect. You can find examples of guys running 4.5" and 5" of backspace without issues. This would be with a 245 or 235 wide tire.

Backspacing is only one part of the equation. There needs to be sufficient clearance to the spokes of the wheel as well, and with big calipers, traditional wheel designs often won't work.
Baer will offer templates that can be used to determine if sufficient wheel to caliper clearance exists.
