Hey, I was wanting to see if anyone is using the baer serious street brakes, and if so what do you think? Im planning on buying these for my 67 camaro. I have just purchased the hotchkis tvs system and was thinking of brakes now. Thanks for your help.

Do you plan on running 15 inch rims? If your running 16's go with the sport kit(they changed their names so I might be off)... Instead of 11inch rotors their now 12.
I have the kit on my car and really like it. I felt the manual style brakes was a bit lacking so now I'm installing hydroboost. But it stopped very well before power.
Remember....
11 inch rotors = 15 inch wheel is a must!
12 inch rotors = 16 inch wheel is a must!
13 inch rotors = 17 inch wheel is a must!
Now you can go bigger but the caliper designs change and become quite a bit more compact. But you get the drift. There are some exceptions but I strongly going with the rotor/wheel size I put above.

I have the Baer Serious Street front and rear, couldn't be happier with them. Bought them to fit my 15" wheels. I have since changed to a 17" wheel and would consider selling them if interested. PM me for details. The brakes are like new. Slotted and drilled rotors look great.

I going to get these from a friend of mine,if I want them, he is planning on going with the bigger rotors. I kind of had my mind made up but wanted to check and make sure.
This is one of the best site for knowledge and help that I have ever thanks again.

Hey, Im sorry. I will be running a 15" wheel for now and hopefully in the future a 17" wheel. If you dont care would you post your experiences with the hydroboost and thanks again to everyone

The company, Hydroboost, kicks ass. There is not one bad thing to say about them!
The system, Hydrboost, kicks ass too!

That's good to hear. I'm installing it next week, along with double thick seat belts to keep my ass in the car, lol.

On a limited bug. stick with your first plan of upgrading your brakes, that maybe sufficient and what you what, but for hydroboost info look at this forum's sponsers, ie. Hydratech.

well in about a month ill have a front kit for sale with only about 1k miles on them....
and i never noticed anything bad about them, and they were suprisingly manageable with no booster whatsoever, also if youre running rallys the baer logo lines up perfectly with the slots in the wheel and makes for a pretty neat look.

I agree with Ilove. I had my serious streets on with 15" chrome ralleys and they looked good. they also look great on my 17" 610 Cragars. but Iam upgrading to larger rotor thats why I have my serious streets available, not because of any performance issues.

this serious street system is just what i need and want. i'm on a serious budget as a unemployed dependent college student but i feel i can make some extraordinary sacrifices to get some safe brakes on my camaro. if you guys are serious bout selling your systems please inform me!
right now i'm running on 69 Camaro front disc brakes and my stock 67 rear drums. I drive my 67 Camaro o.k. so the system i'm running now works well but I want more assurance. Plus the other day I noticed one of the pins from the front driver's caliper is gone!? and my wheel bearings need replacing.
i love 15 inch wheels too. i know i'm going to run 17s in the distant future but i'd probably keep the serious street system just because i'd like to change up the wheel a lot.
