Welcome.
Given the availability of excellent swap components, these swaps have gotten a lot easier. Assuming a moderate level of mechanical ability, I would rate this sort of swap a 6 on a 1-10 scale in terms of difficulty.
Holley makes all the hardware that you would need and their kit is very well engineered.
