Guess we’ll start with the car, 69 base coupe Camaro. It didn’t come any more plain than this car did when new sans AC.
Ive owned the car almost 18yrs with most of the work completed in previous builds throughout that time. The only part of the car that hasn’t been touched is the rear suspension. I’ve upgraded some things ei; shocks, brakes, wheels, springs & shop built cal-tracs and a 9” Ford.

Its time to tackle the rear suspension and a few other needed appointments.

Pretty typical stuff here, if anyone creates a tool that removes the rear seat without breaking a sweat let me know, I’m interested!

Axle, fuel tank/lines, shocks, springs, exhaust, bumper comes out. Basically if it bolts together and is behind the front seats it’s gotta come out!

Everything gets measured and cut lines layer out for wheel houses. This build I’ll install inner/outers.

More progress was made and here’s where I stopped (for now!)
Trunk floor, seat pan and shock brace removed for deeper tub width, along with that both inner/outer wheel houses removed and a rough prep.
This car more than likely spent time in the repair spur of GM’s body shop! there’s a ton of “Extra” spotwelds! More than I’ve ever seen on an 1st gen F body!
Along the way the car will receive new trunk floor and drops, LH/RH full quarters and tail pan.
