I think this might be my first thread. I have a 68 Chevelle. Im installing an LS3-525 and mating it up to an TCI 6X. I've search the forum with no luck. My question is, will this transmission fit without carving up the trans tunnel? Does anyone have photos of what they have done.
Thanks in advance,
Perry

The 6x is a 4L80E based transmission, so any fitment issues with that will apply. Most of the builds using the 80 tend to need some tunnel mods. I would check the condition of the body mounts and replace if necessary before beginning fitment. Seems the cooler lines tend to be an issue, especially the rear line.

This thread may be of some help as well. Like Randy said, the TCI 6X is a modified 4L80E so any info you can find on 4L80E fitment will apply.
