Ok I have put off asking this question for months, as I was sure I'd find it. but I now need it and can't find it anywhere or even it's name.
I'm in the process of making and shaping my own interior, the doors are well underway and like every part of my build, taking much longer than expected.
To finalize my doors and continue the flow of the interior I need to start the rear panels, but with the curves involved I NEED the part I am asking about.
I know it exists because I've seen it used by 'Interiors by Shannon' on several of their first gen builds, I have attached a very blurry screenshot I took a couple months ago from their snapchat story. I contacted him but received no reply unfortunately.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, even just knowing what it is called will help my witch hunt.

I can't tell from this picture. Do you have one a little closer?

No sorry, that's literally the best picture I ever managed to get of a part I cannot find available anywhere

This is the interior piece that would sit on top of the piece I'm looking for, I know most models never came with the steel underneath

Door top rail. Your going to have to buy a pair of rear door panels to get that piece. They usually only sell front separate. Don’t know if anyone selling rear separate

You're a legend Joe, my next move was to just buy rear door panels and figure out how to modify them, So looks like I only have the one option

You can buy some cheap used panels. Here is a couple:

Originals are likely better fit and thicker metal imho....

Buy the original ones! They fit WAY better!!! Same goes for aftermarket OEM style front door panels. And dash pads. Just my first hand experience. I ended up buying used original stuff and had them redone by an interior shop. I sold the aftermarket parts on Craigslist.

I'm almost positive I have a set of original metal tops for the door panels. They are from a 69, but rears should fit 68. Fronts obviously wouldn't work on a 68.

The front's aren't a problem, I've already taken care of those. But if you had rears you'd be willing to part with that would be amazing, let me know.
