Hello all.
I am currently building my 8.5 10 bolt. I am welding the tubes, have the late ford housings ( strange # 1137 ) and ordered my axles 30 spline ( strange # P3102 ). I will be installing an Eaton trutrac and probably 3.73 . I was looking for some input on gear manufacturers. I’ve been looking at Richmond, Strange, Motive. Recently I’ve been reading about AAM 2 cut oem. Does anyone have any info regarding noise, durability, quality, etc on any of these? Thx.

Mine was setup with Motive. My guy said it was probably one of the easiest he's seen with getting tolerances and shims correct.

US gear seems to be a favorite from what I read. We've used Yukons in the past without issue

I have set up some Us Gear and they worked well. Strange private labels these FYI and they are American made. I believe they are worth the higher cost.
