I need to build a tank for a custom set up. It'll need to be long and narrow, mounted front to back along a frame rail. This is going to be turboed and flex fuel. I'm planning to use this pump

I'm thinking I should put 2 of these in the tank, 1 at either end with the pump in the middle.

I understand how these work, and putting them in the tank is easy enough. What I don't get is how to connect to the inlet side of the pump where the regular filter would go. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

If anyone would know it would be Carl Casanova of Vaporworx. I know he sells the corner pick-up kits and many unique fittings, I'm not sure if there's a good way to connect to the inlet side of the 450 pump.

There is no good way to do it that I'm aware of. The OE systems use a jet pump (high pressure fuel driven) to create the suction needed to transfer fuel from the remote pickups. The C5/6 Corvette is a bit different, but none use the pump inlet as the method.

There is also a very real possibility that the inlet to the pump will cavitate if pickups are somehow attached. The inlet to the pump needs to be unrestricted and have head (fuel above the inlet) to work right. There's also the unknown on how effective the pump inlet suction is vs. pickup performance.
