Hey Guys, Where is everyone going through the firewall on the engine and pedal harness? And what about the seal? I have the GM controller, so the fuse block is pretty big. Was planning on putting it behind the ash tray, but where on the computer is good? Just looking for options.... TIA!

I would use techflex F6 wrap on it. Much nicer than the plastic stuff and easier to do before you install the harness.

Keep firewall clean and go through down low close to bell housing of trans.
I agree to use tech flex!

That looks like it is coming along real nice. I am building a second gen with a LSA and I am not quite as far along as you are. Sorry to hijack your thread but what kind of front accessory drive are you using, it looks good, uses a factory damper and is not all "billet" looking.

I has all Holley stuff from an LS2 I was gonna use... I liked the "Factory" look... But the Holley a/c compressor bracket got in the way of the blower tensioner. So.... I ordered the LSX concepts a/c bracket and tensioner. Works great. Its just raw aluminum and the alt bracket is cast alum, but it looks great together.... And doesn't cost a fortune....

Got the tech flex in this week... What about the grommet through the firewall? Any suggestions or pics?

The Daystar universal firewall boot on amazon looks pretty good for the price.

I'm using it with a bunch of smaller wires though, not ECM.
