68 camaro fuel tank question when mini tub

1968 Camaro rock valley ss tank for efi
my question is when mini tub with 4 link not moving leafs inboard like dse
do you still have to modify and cut down tank ?

No.

However. Running exhaust out the back is now limited, so you would ideally want a tank with notched corners. Otherwise you'll have to run it under the tank corners. Will function fine, but aesthetically not as pleasing as it could be.
