That LT1/8L90 would be a sweet combination, in your Chevelle. Put an LT4 blower on it and I couldn't imagine anything,much better.

You will have to raise the tunnel 1" or so similar to the 6L90

Yes the tunnel will need to be raised up, but that's about it really. It should fit in there no problem, Speartech make the harness, motion race works sells a fuel system, Sonnax makes the trans adapter for the driveshaft, cpl places makes motor mounts. It won't take much to get this thing goin.
