Hey guys. Getting ready to build a new harness for my latest project. Looking for connector options. I usually use weatherpack and/or metripack connectors. Going with smart relays for a lot of this build so wire gauge will be pretty small and wondering if there are any physically smaller connectors out there.
Thanks!

Did you check out the Metri-Pack 150's?

I saw those out there but never really checked them out.
They look pretty compact, which is what I was looking for. Thanks Mark!

No problem. I have a bunch of the terminals. I can take some photo's if you want to compare to the 280's.
You getting any snow down your way? :)

That would be great. I have used the 280 series in the past. Would be nice to see how the 150 series compares size wise.

We got a decent snow (for Houston, TX) at home. But ironically we were at our place near Austin and only saw a few flurries. Nothing like what you see up there for sure! 70 degrees and beautiful today. Gotta love Texas weather!

Thanks for your input!

If you don't need high current capacity, the metripack 150 series is great. The terminals are all universal and I think you can go up to a 12 cavity connector. If you want to get really fancy, the Deutch style connectors are really nice too. They have a similar load rating and offer similar density. I have tooling for the metricpacks, so I stick to that, but Racewire has Deutch terminals that can be crimped using the Metripack tools.

Thanks for the tip on Racewire. I have metripack and weatherpack tools. Would be nice not to have to buy another connector specific tool. I’ll check them out. I usually buy from Del City for wiring stuff. It’s always best to use the right crimper for sure!

Look into molex MX150, They are used in lots of powersports applications

GM also uses a lot of Molex connectors on their most recent cara.

Great suggestion! The matte-seal is nice, makes the crimp process simpler. And they offer some great bulkhead connectors too. Thanks
