I read a lot of people experiencing the same problem I had, a very annoying buzzing sound coming from the center knob of a Lokar shifter, which can be reduced or eliminated simply by holding your finger on it. A lot of posts on various forums have discussed fixes such as adjusting the linkage, etc. However, I just depressed the button and let a few drops of lubricant drip down around its edges (in my case "Tri Flow"), and bingo, no more buzzing. Hope this can help someone else since can be really annoying.
