I have a 1968 firebird convertible with LSX transplant. This is an uncompleted project car that is about 75 percent complete. Almost every body panel on the car has been professionally replaced. The front end is completely new sheet metal. Quarters replaced, rear panel, deck lid, etc. Body was put in yellow base primer. Intererior floor has been coated with por-15 two stage treatment. Still needs to have spoiler installed on trunk and primered. The subframe was removed and replaced with stock subframe that was put in jig and refurbished to factory specs and painted black. Has power steering, tubular control arms, front disc kit, coils , shocks, etc. Rear end has been replaced with detroit speed and engineering quadralink with Ford 9" and posi. Running wildwood rear disc brake kit. subframe has been connected with weld in subframe connectors also from Detroit Speed. Rear wheel wells have been mini-tubbed (detroit speed) to run wider tire. Engne is 2004 LQ9 with new L92 heads and LS3 intake and cable driven throttle body running corvette accessories. Engine was taken apart and has been partially rebuilt as I kept the original pistons, crank, etc but installed new heads, oil pump, etc, has 0 miles just enough runtime to start and verify wiring (no driveshaft). Transmission is a professionally built T56 6-speed with 0 miles. Engine is currently wired up to fire and run with painless performance wiring harness and fuel line. Both will need to be put in place permanently as right now they are just there to start the motor. Completly new brake lines, master, and pump. New Lokar pedals, new Lokar throttle cable, new 6 speed clutch peddle, clutch reservoir, used drive shaft, new amaracan autowire harness, new emergency brake cables, new Lokar emergency brake cable, and origianl dash gauges, needs to be installed. all parts are there awaiting installation. Car is setup for vintage air and already have compressor on engine. Rear Torque Thrust II wheels on new Goodyear Eagle rubber. Front wheels are roller only and did not purchase the front yet. Hood and front bumper is off car to finish the engine work. You will need complete interior and top, front wheels, hood scoops, vintage air kit (with out compressor). I have a ton in this car and am asking 13K or best offer. Not interested in trades unless its a motor cycle, el camino and cash. Not in a hurry to sell. Car is located in Johns Creek GA. email is [email protected]. phone: 678-718-5772.
