Those three little words, ladies and gentleman, are words to live by! I saw it with my own eyes this weekend. There we were, at a seafood resturaunt after the cruise at the Turkey Run. A very nice cruise through a state park, by the way. Anyway, there we were, after a day at the Turkey Run, the Pro-Touring.com gang taking up half the place. Everyone was hungry. Bill Howell walks in and announces to the wait staff that he tips well. He does say it once. He says it numerous times. Everyone has a nice laugh about it until Bill's food arrives earlier than anyone elses. So much so that Bill (known hereafter as Tip) FINISHES his meal BEFORE anyone else is served!
I have learned from the master. If you are in a crowded resturaunt with a large group of people and you want to eat in a reasonable amount of time, make sure the waitress knows that you tip good!
Bill, you rock! :headbang:

I will say, Bill is a sweet guy. After he finished eating, and our food wasn't there yet, he offered me a french fry. What a guy!

You've all left out the most important part of the tale:

What percentage did Bill actually tip?

Reminds me of the scene from Resevoir Dogs.

That is what I want to know also?

I'm sure it was very good. Every time I shake Bill's hand, loose change runs down his pant leg. The harder I squeeze, the more change that drops! I once collected a whole $1.28!

Pfft, you guys are acting like this is the first time a guy promised a girl to give her the tip.

I paid for Bob's meal and my meal, plus the desserts Jim forgot to mention. Not only did I offer him fries, I also got him a piece of Keylime pie.
The total was $96 and I gave her a $100 and a $20 so I am guessing 24%?

I didn't forget to mention the pie! The story isn't as good when you mention that! I wouldn't pick on you if I didn't love you, Bill! :grouphug:

Oh yeah, thanks for the pie!

Were you flirting with Bill's Dance "partner"! Your SSooooo gonna get banned!

Bill is a good dancer, just ask the other guy

I'm just trying to keep the facts STRAIGHT and I'd hate for the wrong guy to go down for a crime he didn't commit.

How much did Bill actually tip?

I am guessing 24%?

Bah. For "I tip goodly" I'd expect >40%.

Heck, my wife tips the grumpy waitstaff at Waffle House 30%. Don't ask what she tips the few that aren't grumpy.

Now... what's this about a dance?

Bill, do you rent yourself out for parties? :dunno:

I actually think he did just fine by our waitress. She didn't even do THAT much! He is fun to pick on though!
