I'm using the GMPP harness with my crate LS3 and the Holley Acc drive kit. The Holley kit comes with an Alternator pigtail. This pigtail has a resistor installed in it. Do I need to use this pigtail or can I just plug my GMPP harness Alternator plug in the Alternator ?? I believe the resistor is needed if NO charge light is used. My GMPP harness may have the resistor installed already, not sure? Thx!!

Don't use the Holley pigtail. Just plug in the connector on the GMPP harness...

The resistor is used if you don’t want to use pcm control on the alternator. It’s 470ohm iirc and wired to the ignition. I would use the gmpp harness and no resistor. Holley brackets use regular truck alternators FYI.
