I just recently cracked my bell housing in my 69 camaro with a munci m21 and I am looking for suggestions on a replacement. I am currently still going to use to m21 and the manual linkage but am thinking of trying to use a hyd. clutch instead. Also I would like to get a bellhousing that will later be easy to adapt a 6-speed onto.

McLeod.

They make a housing that uses a plate system that will accept different transmissions to the same bellhousing.... GM platform.

I run a Lakewood and really wished I had a McLeod. McLeod have better alignment and will fit nearly any trans.

McLeod's modular bells are nice pieces. However, before you buy one, give them a call and ask about any possible problems with header/exhaust fitment.

Ok so it sounds like the mcleod bellhousing will adapt to my current munci trans. but which 6 speed transmissions will bolt to it. Also can I use either a manual clutch linkage or a hyd. clutch. What are the advantages of switchinig to a hyd. clutch.
