So I have a new project.
I recently traded my pro street 67 firebird for a more stock chassis 69 firebird.
It does have subframe connectors and a roll cage in it, a very nice one with swing out door bars.
It also came with front coilovers and a 9" Ford rear end.
I am installing a 465 cubic inch aluminum head Pontiac engine that make about 500 HP or so and an overdrive automatic trans.
This will be a street car, I'm not going to autocross it, but I want it to handle like it's on rails!
I am planning on running a 275-40/17 on the rear and either a 245 or 255-45/17 up front.

I need help on choosing suspension.

Do I use a DSE or Global West leaf spring out back or something else?

I was kind of looking at the global west EXT or DSE control arms. What are your thoughts.

Global West I think makes the best leaf spring. There spring is designed to prevent axle wrap.

I ordered all the Global West suspension stuff last week, should be here soon.
Cat5 reverse eye 2"drop leafs and the tubular front control arms with the EXT lowers.
Also have QA1 coilovers on the front

I chose Landrum leaf springs. They have a bigger selection of rates and arcs. I was able to find a fairly flat spring with the rate that I felt would work best.

You can go with one of our Torque Arm Kits!
