As far as I can tell, there is no other direct 3/8" tube to PTFE -6 hose fitting available other than from TechAFX. Does anyone have any experience with this fitting or is there a better solution apart from going multiple fittings?

I bought Earl's fittings from Summit Racing to transition from 3/8 to -6AN.

just need standard an union, ptfe -6 fitting on one end , an -6 tube nut and sleeve on the other end unless your looking for something special.

What Mike said.

6AN tube nut and sleeve, flare to 37 degrees, connect to AN union. That way the tube is constrained on both the inside and out for a trouble-free connection.

I think Andrew (andrewb70) has a video of this on his build thread.

This connection is for a fuel line (3/8" tube) that is already under the car with no fitting on the ends. I was going to use this compression type of adapter to attach what I thought was a short run of -6 line from the tank (turns out is -8). This was so that I didn't have to take the line down and snake it around the axle to flare it. After looking at it for a while last night, it looks as though I'd be able to get it down enough to flare it. As far as I can tell, -8 tube nuts/sleeves are for 1/2" tubing.

The above link for the transition is available to adapt from 3/8" tube to -8 PTFE line. Or I'd have to flare it for -6 and get a reducer/union.

I have used the compression fittings before, but prefer to flare the tubing and use tube nuts, sleeves and AN union fittings...
