Looking for feedback on US Mag Rambler wheel. Have never used or seen but have good pricing for just a driver. Would like to know more about quality and finish

Subscribed. I saw a set on another 69 Camaro at a show last week but never could hook up with the owner. He had the grey center and machined lip, 18" rims. I kinda like the chromed ones, but if they offered a chromed hoop with a brushed center I think these would fly off the shelf. Definitely curious about the quality of the wheel, also the chrome plating. I had a set of Foose Nitrous II's on my Lightning and was always impressed with the quality of the plating.

I know they offer a black face with polished and pretty sure they offer gunmetal also

My buddy has the US Mag Ramblers, they're a custom offset so not the cheaper cast ones, they're very nice and look almost identical to my Budnik Knife wheels with just a slightly different cut by the lug nut area, looks like they were cut from the same basic center to us. and just about the same exact price.

I really like these rims, but it seems like the biggest issue with these rims is the limited back spacing. Also, I seen on this forum that there can be break fitting issues with the popular corvette brake setup. I don't recall if it required a spacer to fit.

On their website they also sell that same rim in custom sizes but the price jumps about 4X.

All the vehicles they list that have these rims used a 8" front and 9.5" rear.

Dug up a couple pix I took of the aforementioned Camaro running the 18" US MAGS. Front tire size was 245/40-ZR18 and the rears were 275/40-ZR18. Think the wheels were probably the 8" fronts and 9.5" rears? Maybe 5.5" backspace?

I like these wheels in chrome, would like them even more if the grey powder coated centers were available with the chrome hoop. The Camaro was silver and the wheels (to me anyway) were almost lost because the machined lip isn't brilliant like a polished billet or chrome wheel. If it were a darker car they might look a _lot_ better (see above).

I did crawl under the car and he's running "stock" suspension although the leafs were monoleafs with slide-a-links. Not mini-tubbed, shocks were in the stock location. Tires seemed to fit nicely in the wheel wells.

Thanks for the info exactly what I was looking for. Where is the best place to order with custom offset

Hopefully the pic works, first time posting on this site. I'll be getting a set of something good as soon as I can afford it but these have held up pretty good. 144768

Here's the pic I tried to attach, good looking wheels but saving money for something special. 144769

I run the 17x8's on my car. Cheap, and the quality seems good so far. I'd buy them again.

Old thread but I’ll add mine 210966210967
245s in front 285s in the rear no fitment issues at all. Could probably have gone wider on both if I wanted to. Clears Baer brakes and wilwoods. Might be tight on some of the bigger Brembo.
