i just received my ridetech system to put on my 1962 comet. it takes brakes from a 1964-to 1972 a or f body. in the instructions they give systems from wilwood or baer. i was wondering knew of a set up utilizing parts i could get from the local parts store AND keep the 5x4.5 bolt pattern.

If you spent enough time with the bearing book, I am sure you could come up with a combination of rotors, bearings, and races that would work. Then you would need calipers (easy) and brackets (may not be easy).

If this is a budget thing, the least expensive Wilwood kit that uses the aluminum hub is 140-10996. The hub is drilled for both patterns so you could maintain 5 x 4.5.

its partial budget, but also i'm not going to autocross it. so i figured the 2 piston calipers that are on the 1967 gto's and trying to find a rotor that will maintain the 5x4.5 bolt pattern. that way i get sufficient braking for my needs, performance upgrade, and still be able to purchase brakes from over the counter.
