Me too!! We think we know what the carb issue is and a fix is in the works. If all goes good I'll make it with Barney to our last race of the season in KC on Oct 29th.

Shortly after that we are moving to Phoenix where hopefully I'll be able to race it locally through the winter.

Dave, I can't answer the piston size question but I did compare the weight of the stock G- body spindle, rotor and caliper and compared it to the ATS spindle, and Stoptech Rotors and sT60 caliper.

In the front, we run piston sizes of 38mm, 40mm & 42mm for a total piston area of 5.85" per caliper.

In the rear, we run piston sizes of 32mm & 36mm for a total piston area of 2.825" per caliper.

This creates a 67.5%/32.5% Front/Rear Brake bias with the same size calipers.

We Tailor RSRT Manual Brake Systems to what the driver wants:
Super Firm Pedal – Utilize a 5.5-1 Pedal & 15/16” M/C
Firm Pedal – Utilize a 6-1 Pedal & 15/16” M/C
Moderate Pedal – Utilize a 6-1 Pedal & 7/8” M/C
Light Pedal – Utilize a 6.25-1 Pedal & 7/8” M/C

Had a great day today, fantastic fast and fun course with two hard braking zones to try the new Stoptech brakes out on. It was cold too, 25 degrees to start the day, somewhere around 40 degrees when we started our heat. I must say, I thoroughly enjoyed not having to worry about warming my brake pads up as I headed for the start on my first run.

Being the first time on track with these brakes (and a whole other host of new parts including shocks and steering) I really didn't know what to expect, but I was familiar with the course as we ran the exact same course at this event last year. As I sailed it into the first hard brake zone, it immediately started wheel hopping the rears probably from too much bias. I saved the corner and braked a bit earlier and softer for rest of the run. Once back in grid I backed a bunch of rear bias out. On the next run, no rear wheel hop but I slid the inside front tire once I started to turn the steering wheel. Before each of the next two runs I added a bit more rear bias back in and I think I got it pretty close on last run.

I must say, these things are fantastic! Even though they are set up for a manual system, I'm running them with my stock power booster...and it is still very easy to modulate them to get great stopping without locking the tires up. Loved the extra confidence knowing I can sail it into the very fast corners and not have to worry about whether it'll stop or not. I ended up about 1 second faster on a 46 second course than I ran last year and finished 3rd in class, 15th overall raw time out of 165 drivers. I'll take that!!!
