I picked up a 11000 mile 2016 3.5L Eco Boost for my 64 Falcon project. The engine is pretty clean other than the nasty oxidation on the block and heads. I am not tearing the engine down so looking for a advice on what others have found to work to clean the castings?
Thanks,
Mitch

Eastwood sells an aluminum cleaner that seems to work well. I purchased a bottle, but have only tried a few spots on my trans.

There are many companies that make wheel cleaner for cast aluminum wheels. Bare cast aluminum cleans up beautifully. I have used it on manifolds and wheels and other aluminum parts to get that "new look" back.

Thanks guys, I did order a bottle aluminum cleaner from Eastwood last night to try. I will stop by the parts store to see what they have for wheel cleaners as well.
Appreciate it,
Mitch
