View Full Version : 1993 Mustang Coupe, SLA front suspension.

So I'm finally getting around to starting on my build, a '93 Mustang that will be an all around driver but hopefully very track / Auto-X capable.

I am in engineering at Ridetech, so I'll be utilizing some of my resources there to complete the build, but this isn't a Ridetech project. ;)

The car started life as a 4 cyl auto. In its place will go a fuel injected 351 and a TKO600.

A bit of front end damage prompted complete replacement of the front frame rails. In going that far, I just decided to design and build a complete SLA front suspension from scratch. Something I'd been thinking about for a long time. To make it easily tunable (and a little more trick), I'm going to go with a cantilevered shock setup.
