So after moving around bit last year work wise, 6mo unemployment, some time doing mobile diag and trying to help buddy get used car dealership started but that fell through.
Anyway guy been working for, paid OK, but business was shaky. Then found out last parts house charge account was shut down. SO old boss wants to bring me back to the Midas in Bloomington IN.
$0.50 less but get flat rate bogie to hit then get $25hr FR. and his checks never bounced.
So really hate to leave without notice but cant pass up job and decent money.
And I got another project to build a DD.
Picked up an 04 Grand Prix GT, needs fresh shortblock and have Gen V lower intake and can get blower cheap from LKQ. so as soon as I find idlers and tensioner parts it gets blown too.
$300 car, maybe $250 for engine, plus few more parts figure less than $1000 in new/used DD. And may try to do some PT mods too.
God I hate this but I gotta do right for me. and with shop struggling and him adding third tech it just didnt help.
