DELETE, found and bought.
RamJet 350, 700R4, cold AC, rack and pinion, 4 wheel discs, not tubbed, lots of extras, pretty much what I was looking for and a ton less $ than would have cost me to build.

Looking for nice street car, restomod/pro-touring
Must be:
EFI (LS1, RamJet, Stroker with EFI or similar, crate or low mileage pulled)
automatic overdrive (4L60e or similar)
modern AC with alum radiator, able to tolerate southern heat
upgraded suspension (coilovers or similar) with good stance (not air ride)
no rust
no orange or yellow
documentation/receipts/pictures during restoration

Prefer:

not tubbed (18" shoes, not 20")
rack and pinion steering
modern gauges, sound system, etc.
located in Southeast US
has been driven and all the kinks sorted out
need decent ground clearance to get in my driveway and not too loud to annoy neighbors

Looking for very nice car, quality build, ready to go, no issues. Waiting for the right car...
(and yes, I know to check the for sale forum)

Please message me if you have a car you have loved but are thinking of selling
Thanks

Very tough to find a custom car customized the way you want it! My suggestion is to find an abandoned project and have it finished to your liking.

What is your budget? I'm considering parting with my 67 Firebird.

Build thread are in my signature link, and over at lateral-g.net

Whereabouts in NC? have you check out RK motors or streetside classics in Charlotte? or check protouringgarage.com if you want a real nice one

Thanks, yes have been to both RK (nice cars, very high prices, don't currently have what I want, seem fairly trustworthy) and Streetside (not as nice cars, more of a roll of the dice on "as is" consignment cars, currently nothing close to what I want). I will keep looking. My budget is flexible for the right car, but I am ideally looking for a car closer to $60k than >$100K.

Interested in other types of cars? My Cougar gets more attention than if I had set my GTO on fire...

will also consider other crate motors with EFI (preferably aluminum heads)
looking for rust-free, EFI, auto OD, AC, upgraded suspension
quality, sorted, reliable build but not over the top
