Well?

I have a good friend that is looking to get a TKO-600 for his 67 Camaro. He is going to be running a 502/502 crate motor, carbuerated. I know the TKO-600 will be fine, but here is the questions he has and I was not sure either. The motor will have 150 shot bottle, see some track time, 1/4 mile drag, and of course "street" driving with buddies... What would be a good recommedation for clutch as well as would you run hydraulic or mechanical with the Speed Direct Heim joint kit?

Thanks!!!

Brad-
For a clucth - definitely a McLeod Street Twin. When you are over 500HP with a blower or juice a single disc will not handle it.
Mechanical or hydraulic clutch is a personal preference. I use mechanical and I like it. I tried both stock and Speed Direct heim and did not notice much of a diference. With that said, if he does not have any parts and he needs to buy them, he may as well go with the heim.

Really? Should I change mine then too? I am running the single disc McLeod... Forgot which one, but my motor is a more of a beast than his, and I am running bottle too...

Brad-
You have the McLeod dual Performance which McLeod rates at 600 hp (carburated) or 500 hp (with blower or NOS).
It may be able to go beyond those limits depending on how you drive it.
