Looking to throw together a fun daily driver. I'm thinking Fox-body LTD with a Cobra IRS.

As to the engine, I was thinking about rebuilding a Fox-Mustang 5.0 and using a Twisted Wedge top end kit that's supposed to put out 350hp and backing it with a 5-speed.

My questions:

Good idea?

Who tunes the ECM?

Is there a better ECM kit?

Would you swap a different engine instead?

If a duck is a bird and a beaver is a mammal, what's a platypus?

I have built a lot of 5.0's and here is the short answers:

1- do NOT buy Twisted Wedge anything, except maybe the intake. The heads are crap, i dont care what the flow #'s are.

2- ECM will not need to be "tuned" , it's not like a modern EFI LS or Coyote or Hemi setup. Look for a A9L or A3M ecu. A9L is the best.

3 i can build you a ridiculous 5.0, PM me and we'll talk what you want vs budget. 400hp is easy with the right parts, not stroked.

4 A platypus in Hialeah, FL is called special of the day at any Latin cafe on 8th street. Also known as "arroz con pollo" , lol.
