LS2 into G-body swap (1979 cutlass)

Hello friends,

Looking for some information and opinions on putting a 2005 corvette c6 LS2 motor into my 1979 Cutlass supreme. I just ordered a G-body auto book that has more information into it about the swap, but I just wanted to hear some thoughts, if anybody has ever done it, etc.

I'm not a mechanic and I have little knowledge, my friends I drag race with do but I wanted to hear your ideas vs. theirs.

I want to switch over to fuel injected as well. I know I'm going to get crab about that but hey.
