67 Firebird rear bumper options

I've decided I don't want to run the stock Firebird rear bumper, just too bulky for me.

I'm thinking about a 67 Camaro rear bumper or just deleting the rear bumper all together.

Would like to hear opinions or see pics if anyone has any.

Not sure how different the 67 F-bodies are, but a friend of mine is installing a Camaro bumper on his 69 Firebird, and it actually looks quite nice. Fits surprisingly well, he won't have to do much to make it bolt on. Maybe 67 is the same way, if you're lucky.

IMO, a Firebird bumper helps define the car over a Camaro.
Paint the bumpers body color.

144388I am putting a 68 Camaro rear bumper on my 69 FB Conv. To me it looks alot cleaner we also tucked it end on the ends.

69 Firebird stock bumper that has been tucked. I had the same plan. I tossed up running a Camaro bumper or smoothing the tail section. In the end, I decided to tuck the stock bumper.
