Edmunds buying service?

Anyone ever use Edmonds buying service to buy/sell a car?

Basically a third party that holds buyers money in escrow till delivery and acceptance.


Also, how can I run a VIN to check the current owner?

I have never used Edmunds, but how to check a vin, I would probably pay someone to do a ****** check.
