I'm looking to get a LS3 430 and a T56. Is the Connect and Cruise the best option? Or would it be better to buy the LS3 separate and then go with an aftermarket ecm/harness? And what about the T56, do I need to get an aftermarket bell housing and clutch? Plans include an aftermarket cam, and basic bolt ons. Trying to get 550+ hp at the flywheel. I might consider a blower later on, so when buying trans parts now I want to take that into consideration.

I have done three or four connect and cruise packages. They are pretty complete, everything in the box. Only thing it really needs is a final tune.....I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one...

I would do a connect and cruise for an automatic.
With a manual I think you are better off piecing it together with a GM engine, a Speartech Harness, and a T56 kit from your favorite vendor.

Just to add, I think a LS3 making 550rwhp is going to be pretty unstreetable. If you add a blower, then that's a different story, although longevity will suffer.

.... :)
I guess I can't read...I am blaming it on only having one cup of coffee this morning. That's my story and I am sticking to it :)

I did an Ls3 out of a 2011 Corvette that had under 10k miles on it. I sourced a 4l60 e from a vendor and used a Speartech harness. I doubt I came in much cheaper than if I would've going the connect and cruise route. And I have no warranty.

I'm not happy with GMs performance harness. Very shotty work...I would get the harness elsewhere
