I picked the car up back in January 2016, she was a shell in desperate need of a rebirth. Since then I have taken her back down to the bare metal, exposing a few unwanted surprises. I've welded a new center trunk pan, complete full floor & toe boards in the cabin. I managed to locate a 12 bolt posi rear end with Richmond 3.55 gears and c-clip eliminator kit at a price I still can't believe. I installed Wilwood 12" rotors with 4 piston calipers in the rear along with Hotchkis 1 1\2" drop leaf springs and traction bars. It now has Competition Engineering sub frame connectors and will have all polygraphite bushings. The front sub frame has been stripped down, repainted and is awaiting reassembly. It will sport UMI tubular upper &a lower control arms, Wilwood 12" rotors with 6 piston calipers and Hotchkis 2" drop springs. I found a set of 20" Donz rims (20x10 in the rear, 20x9 up front) and tires for $400 which as of now will be what I am going with. I will be installing a stainless steel gas tank and running a big block 454 bored over .30 mated to a Muncie M20 tranny. The motor has yet to be built, that will be the next endeavor once the suspension & braking system is installed. Here are a few pics...
