Hey Guys,

I am putting an LSA and TR6060 into a 69 Camaro with a Chassiswork front subframe, anyone have a similar combination? I want to know which tranny crossmember I should use? The T56 one? Also which headers?

I tried reaching out to Chassisworks tech department, but they didnt seem very sure. Their reply was "we have had some people use Hooker, but it may have changed, stainless works and kooks have been reported to work too I think". That's a direct email quote from their tech department.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

that's one reason I went with Art Morrison vs Chassiswork.

I have a chassisworks frame with an ls3. I ended up with Ultimate Headers. Had to have the front tube tweaked in a little to clear steering shaft and it's tight but will work. They are the long tubes, you may be better with mid length. Dimensions on their site. Tried StainlessWorks and didn't work for me. Reportedly the ones for Wayne Due from them fit. Not sure about the Kooks. As far as the cross member I am running a 4l70 but ended up getting a T-56 from Chassisworks to fit. I took a measurement from front of bell housing to mount holes and they matched it up. First tried one for a 400th but wasn't close. If that one works let me know, I have it extra so you can have it. Hope this helps

Thanks for your reply, I am going to try to use the stock shorty headers, hopefully those will work, if not need a back-up plan of what definitely works so I'm not buying a bunch of headers. Your LS3, did you have to relocate the front accesorries like the alternator and AC, or did the stock setup fit?

Hi, I am using a crate motor and went with a Concept One drive. No problems there. I did notice I failed to mention that the front header tube on passenger side needed a small clearance made on the engine mount arm of the frame, but very minor.
