I'm looking at stepping up to 18" wheels and Camaro Brembo brakes but I'm worried about clearance issues. Cast wheels tend to have thicker 'spokes' and fixed calipers are much larger than the floating calipers I'm using now. Is anyone running a cast 18" wheel like the Boss 338, US Mags Rambler, or Ridler 650 and fixed caliper brakes?

I'm running 18x8 American Racing VN215's on the front of my 70 Camino and have talked to Tobin @ Kore3 about installing one of their C6 Z51 big brake set-ups. Spoke clearance is a concern but we think it will fit, albeit snugly.
The Camaro brake set-up you're looking at was one I also considered but decided against, because of this very issue.

Go to kore3 website and print out a clearance pdf. Basically if you want pistons on both sides of the caliper, you need about 1.75" clearance between the base of the wheel and the spokes.

I haven't been able to find a pdf of the Brembos, only Corvette brakes.

I runs an 18x8 Foose Legend with a Wilwood 14"/6 piston Aero6 caliper. It fits fine, but there's not much room to spare.

That's what I was afraid of.
