type 2 ps pump, techs chime in

​I have a question about my type 2 ps pump. I have some real tight clearances near my steering box, can I clock my pump 180 deg and will it still function as intended?

assuming you have a remote res, it shouldn't matter how you mount it, i mounted my old one with the inlet on the bottom so i could clear my accessories on my motor plate, i had a -10 inlet to make sure i had more then enough fluid at the inlet.
