I will be sending my 69 Camaro to paint hopefully soon. One issue I am running into is that I have a ton of wiring, plumbing, AC lines, Hydroboost lines etc that I have secured on the inner fenders using Kugel clamps and line clamps.

All of the pre-assembly where I secured these lines were done with just the inner fender sitting on the tires. Everything I have seen and read suggests that the inner and outer fenders be assembled as once piece.

I am looking for some advice and guidance on how you guys managed to install all of the hidden items in the fenders wheels. The only way that I can see to do it is to install the inner and outer fenders separately but I am concerned with doing this on a painted car.

Unless I am missing something there are no hard bolting points for the inner fender, without the outer fenders installed.

Thanks in advance...

There are hard mount points for the inner fenders on both the firewall side with the curved brackets and also on the core support side with two bolts. I seem to recall installing inner and outer fenders separately once about 25 years ago but haven't since, probably for good reason... :) Most guys let the hoses and cables float in the fender cavity and secure them on both sides as far as I know. They are fed in as you install the fender. A second pair of hands comes in handy.

I don't think you will want stuff clamped down inside there in case you need to replace a hose etc.
