View Full Version : C5 brakes on Ridetech spindles
Well once again I have bought parts twice. I bought the CPP tall spindles with C5 brakes for my 67 Firebird but found out they didn't lower my car enough. As much as I didn't want to spend the money I bought a Ridetech Tru-turn kit with their drop spindles but I want to use the CPP C5 brakes. Has anyone used C5 brakes on the Ridetech spindles? I have read about using drum hubs and Kore 3 brackets on stock spindles but not sure about these spindles.
BTW I will have a set up CPP tall spindles for sale soon if anyone is interested.

I installed C5 brakes on Ridetech spindles using brackets and hubs from Kore3. Give Tobin a call. He is a great guy.

When I looked at the Kore 3 website all I saw for hubs was the billet hubs. While they look nice I have been going over budget and need to save money where I can. A set of modified drum hubs would fit my budget better if they will work.

If it works on a stock spindle it will work on the Ridetech spindle.
Check with member zman1969. He sells brackets for the install.

I also used the Kore3 stuff (hub and brackets). You don't have to use their hub, you could always get a drum brake hub, turn the outer diameter down for the C5disc and put new studs in.
