Check out these two articles. TV personality Rutledge Wood came across Kyle Petty's high school ride in the course of doing TV car guy stuff and fell in love with it. It's a 1970 Charger with widened fenders and quarter panels. The car sat for a long time until Wood convinced the family to sell it. He talked us into updating the car's chassis. Despite the fact that we have a long list of R&D projects on deck, we couldn't resist the chance to work on such a cool piece of Hot Rod history. This is the start of a new chapter in this cars life. I'm sure Rutledge Wood has more updates in the works. You can see the car on Hot Rod Power Tour. There are two articles.
