Hello all! My name is Justin and I recently purchased a 67 RS Camaro. Ive been trying to buy this particular car for about 12 years and I was FINALLY able to convince the owner to sell!! Small back story: My dads high school friend had a 69 SS that he ended up flipping and bought this 67 with the insurance money in 1983. It needed work and he's not the most mechanically inclined, so it's been sitting in a garage since 1983..... there's a small amount of rust behind the rear wheels and the rear window deck trunk filler panel, other than that its in great shape! I got super lucky here.

Well, I guess it's time to start a build thread before I get any further with the car.

Ill start with some pictures of the day I picked it up and got it home

Tucked away in the back of the garage, he'd already uncovered it by the time I got there

Ive got a pretty steep driveway and we didnt know it, but at the time the front drums were seized so I had to use a come along to get it in!

Finally, after a long day it's home!!!:twothumbs

Looks like a pretty solid start. Complete and little rust are your best friends. Use the old parts as much as you can. Aftermarket parts do not always fit the best. It still amazes me how many garage finds are still out there. Looking forward to more pictures.
