I thought I'd found the paint code for one of the paints I plan to use on my Camaro. It is the finish used on the Ducati Moster Dark. The number I found however is a Ducati part number, not the PPG paint code.

Can anyone find this code for me?

The paint is made by PPG.

I have a paint shop for cars and motorcycles. I had that color custom matched and formulated and I can get it for you on Fr if you like. Its a bc/cc. I gotta say, achieving a uniform level of "flatness" with the special clear (DCU2060) is a b!TCH.

Good info in light of the fact that I'm going to be using on the entire top of the car (hood, roof and decklid).

as long as you spray all the areas at the same time, with the same batch of mixed and ready to spray clear, you will be ok. Its when you try to spray the panels at different times with different batches of the clear mixed up, is when you run into problems. The 2060 is mixed with different ratios of regular clear (2042, for example) to achieve the desired degree of flattness/gloss, and just a fraction of an ounce + - with the clear and hardner will cause it to have a different look than your previous batch. Hope this helps
