I am looking at having to ship a car from LA to Phoenix. Does anyone have a ballpark of what I am looking at. Doesn't need to be a covered trailer, just needs to get there. Thanks.

I'm shipping a car from Chino CA to Colorado, costing me $845. I would think it be $100 or so less?

7-800 would be my guess

Hi Darreld,

I live in phoenix and I see the reliable rigs everywhere and often. From what i understand, they do a lot of the snowbird and goodguys business. I don't know what they charge but it may be worth looking at.

Los Angeles or Louisiana?

If its Los Angeles, Does it run? Will it make the 6 hour trip?

The car is actually going to Fesler from a private party in California. I have no idea if it is drivable but I doubt it. It is being used to make molds for a flush mount glass project. Thanks for the estimates. Looks like I need to give reliable a call.

If it is not driveable then will be much more expensive than the $600 I paid, i.e. if they can't drive it on/off under it's own power.

Mine, don't run, just paid $120 for a guy to air all 4 tires to be able to be pulled on to the transporter. Should be in Colorado next week.

I trucked my 64 F100 from Tucson AZ to LA to be shipped home to Australia.
It cost me $550USD , that was in November 2016.

it was on an open truck

Direct Express Auto Transport has a shipping estimator you can use to get a no obligation quote at https://www.autotransportdirect.com. I've used them twice with no issues.

@68EFIvert

The best way to get an accurate quote is to contact the car shippers directly. Don't get quotes from "online calculators" as they are merely estimates.

We've used Nationwide United Auto Transport several times in the past for car shipping (https://www.nationwideunitedautotransport.com/car-shipping/) and they always come through for us. They're based out of Los Angeles and unlike Reliable Carriers, they have trucks available every week.

Give them a try :)
